The TC boxcars in the 7900-7999 series were built by Pullman-Standard in April, 1941.  At least 3 of the cars were used in passenger service probably for Railway Express shipments.  In 1958, TC sold 65 of the cars to U. S. Railway Equipment Leasing who rebuilt them and leased them back to TC.  These cars were renumbered to the 500-564 series.

The model, while not a Pullman-Standard car, does have correct colors and lettering of the TC 7900 series cars.  Available in 2 different road numbers.
